COACHING
We understand that each athlete’s journey is unique and based on their point of entry, mindset, lifestyle and experience so, at Shapesmith, we offer truly bespoke Strength & Conditioning, Sports Science and Nutritional support. Our world-class performance coaches are also able to call upon our trusted partners to provide additional services, such as Physiotherapy and Sports Psychology.
Whether you’re looking for long-term support or help with a specific goal, or prefer training in-person, online or at our gym, we provide support unique to the client. Our data-driven approach and commitment to client education empower you to make informed decisions and achieve the best results.
analysis
We provide a scientific and rigorously designed performance analysis service. Our analysts are trained to the highest standard and statistically analysed, ensuring that they produce the best quality, consistent analysis.
Post-event, video footage is analysed to produce a report, alongside clipped footage of specific events, which provides detailed insights to inform both coaching and decision making. When coding live, we provide live analytics, to assist with commentary, and data, to enhance fan engagement.
education
At Shapesmith Performance, we deliver evidence-based education that bridges the gap between science and practice.
Our services include the BJJ Science Series, a collection of talks exploring practical methods to enhance performance for combat sports athletes; the Everyday Athlete Workshops, hands-on sessions examining complex training methods; and the Female Performance Course, a modular online course designed to enhance the performance of female athletes and those fortunate enough to be working with them.
We also provide guest lectures to universities, colleges and sports clubs, sharing insights from our team’s vast experience across elite sport and academia, underpinned by ongoing research.
